Background[]
Surtur is often known as the fire demon behemoth and the lord of Muspelheim, an extradimensional plane. He is the mortal enemy of Odin, the ruler of Asgard, and his son Thor.
Lore[]
When Loki took over and ruled over Asgard, once becoming king, Loki then battles Surtur. It appears that the fire giant is defeated by the God of Mischief, who becomes his guardian and ally.

Trivia[]
- At the Royal Palace's Throne Room, paintings of Surtur being taken down by Loki is displayed in both sides of the mission area. Once, taken control by the opposing team, the paintings changed into Surtur being commanded by Loki.
- His crown is one of the artifacts that Loki holds in the Odin's Archive.
