Odin is the father of Thor and Loki, and husband of Frigga, he entered his regenerative Odinsleep after being enchanted in some way by his son Loki who then seized the throne of Asgard with help from Hela.
Trapped within the Odinsleep, Odin reached out to Adam Warlock informing him of a darkness in the cosmos that he must prepare for when he awakens from his cocoon.
