When Steve Rogers took the reins of America's superhuman infrastructure from the disgraced Norman Osborn, he set to rebuild the Avengers. In turn, Moon Knight, having renewed his integrity, won him membership in Rogers's Secret Avengers espionage squad.
During a covert mission at a lounge in Aniana, Symkaria, Spector dons a white suit, disguising himself as Steven Grant. There, he activates a jammer and hands a call girl a disguise and money, advising that she leave this place and never return. Now wearing a mask, he then gets out of a room and uses his flechette guns to stun a guard.
As a fight escalates, Moon Knight battles for his life, confirming that the opponents are possessed and not on drugs. He then meets with the other Secret Avengers, where the group confronts the drug lord Voydanoi. In the encounter, Rogers lobs a bottle of alcohol at him before Black Widow throws an active lighter, setting him on fire. Spector then gives the criminal a hard kick, sending Voydanoi crashing out of the building and onto the ground below.
