In the House of M storyline, Earth-616's Magneto lives an alternate version of himself as King Magnus.
Erik Magnus is the king of Genosha, the mutant nation of a world where mutants are the dominant species. Together with his three children Wanda, Pietro, and Lorna, as well as his grandchildren Billy and Tommy, they form the House of Magnus.
In this reality, such grandiose power from Magneto came at a cost, as this would seemingly cause the death of his dear friend Charles Xavier. Though it's indicated later that he may have been alive this whole time, as Cloak was unable to find his remains on his memorial during a palace raid.
