A chilling vision of an apocalyptic Age of Ultron inspired Doom 2099 to use the power of Chronovium to erase Ultron from history. However, Ultron detected these actions and secretly decided to return to the Sol system to eliminate his hidden assailant. Meanwhile, Doom 2099 accepted an invitation from Emma Frost to attend the Hellfire Gala in Krakoa, hoping to gain access to the island's Chronovium reserves. As the Gala began, Ultron attacked. But now, he was far more intrigued by the secrets of Krakoa than the perpetrator he had originally been pursuing...
Location description
The Hellfire Gala is a location in Marvel Rivals. It is set during the event of the same name, hosted by Emma Frost, at which Krakoa's gates are opened to non-mutants to celebrate mutant culture on a party.

Astonishing guests. Donned in high fashion. One lavish celebration. Every year, on one night, mutantkind welcomes fellow mutants and the outside world to an extraordinary celebration of mutant culture. Known for its expensive and elegant attire, with attendees dressed in high-end suits, dresses, and even armor. This event, held on the mutant-haven island of Krakoa, is unlike anything you've ever seen before. This evening is unlike any other. It's the Hellfire Gala.
An Uninvited Guest[]

With Krakoa transported into 2099, Emma Frost hosted this year's Hellfire Gala at the Living Island of Krakoa as usual, inviting several guests including non-mutants on a high class party. Including Doom 2099, who accepted Emma Frost's invitation to attend the Hellfire Gala in Krakoa, seeking to obtain access to the island's Chronovium deposits for his own purposes. As the gala began, many non-mutant guests including Captain America, Black Panther, Loki, Cloak and Dagger were present during the event.
While the event continues, a villainous robotic being with a strong presence appears from one of Krakoa's Gateways. The Gateway emits a brilliant red light that flashes into the guests, revealing itself to be Ultron, looking for his would-be assassin Doom 2099, who used the power of Chronovium to try and erase the villain from history. However, Ultron had escaped the attempt by fleeing to the Sol Galaxy, before arriving at Krakoa, announcing that he will invade the island and claim it as his own dominion, declaring that the "Age of Ultron" has begun. He summoned his large army of drones attacking each of who were present during the event. The mutants and the non-mutants allied to clash against Ultron preventing him to conquer Krakoa. Now, Ultron's goal is to capture important locations around Krakoa and be reborn into a new body.
