Heimdall, the ever-watchful guardian of Asgard, is Loki’s greatest obstacle in his scheme. Loki knows that Heimdall's all-seeing gaze could expose his machinations before they come to fruition, so he must ensure Heimdall is either distracted or incapacitated before he can alert Odin or Thor.
While Loki does not yet reveal how he will achieve this, his careful planning suggests he will use deception, powerful enchantments, or perhaps even an alliance with Karnilla and Hela to neutralize Heimdall before he can act.[1]
